From the valley of Cynon in Aberdare, South Wales, the choir known as Cwmbach (pronounced Koombark), meaning ‘Small Valley’ will bring the thrilling sounds of the richness of sixty male voices producing what perhaps only Wales can produce – blended rich harmonies of choral sound as rich as the richest vein of coal in any mine - enhanced by the acoustics of Bellapais Abbey....

...With Wales being the ‘Land of Song’ (the title of the concerts) producing many great musicians, singers, writers and poets and with a language known as ‘the language of heaven’ (yr iaith yr nefoedd) it is a privilege to hear a choir of such repute and John Wyn Roberts, the concert organiser, is convinced it will be a sell out....
