A group of Gaelic speaking teenagers, including school pupils from the Western Isles will be in Inverness tomorrow (Thursday) to take part in the annual international Public Speaking Forum Cainte, 'Ri Chèile'.
A group of Gaelic speaking teenagers, including school pupils from the Western Isles will be in Inverness tomorrow (Thursday) to take part in the annual international Public Speaking Forum Cainte, 'Ri Chèile'.
The event is organised by Comunn na Gàidhlig (CnaG) in Scotland and Gael Linn in Ireland and pupils have travelled from all over Scotland and Ireland to take part.
As well as taking part in the forum, which will debate themes: 'How women have changed the world', 'Gaelic Television programmes – good or bad?', 'Mobile Phones' and 'Piping', the youngsters will visit Inverness Museum, take part in a walking tour of Inverness and attend a civic reception hosted by Highland Council...
