Séala Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh

The Irish language promotional organisation, Gaillimh le Gaeilge marked their 21 year association with the city with the launch of a new initiative.

Séala Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh is developed by Gaillimh le Gaeilge in association with the Galway County & City Enterprise Board and is a quality mark and a symbol of excellence in bilingualism for the winners of Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh.

The Mayor of Galway, Councillor Tom Costello launched the initiative on Thursday, marking the beginning of Gaillimh le Gaeilge’s celebration.

This mark of excellence can then be displayed on the winner’s stationery, brochures and websites. Launching the ‘Séala’, the Mayor of Galway congratulated Gaillimh le Gaeilge on their 21 years in business in Galway city and paid tribute to their “valuable contribution to Galway’s unique cultural image.
