It promises to be a total immersion under a big sky. An Irish Language "immersion week" is set for July 11-18 in Butte, Montana, a city with a vibrant Irish community dating back to the 19th century.
The event is being held with the cooperation of the University of Montana in Missoula, which offers an Irish studies program that was inaugurated by President Mary McAleese during her visit to Montana in 2006..
