Tago de Sankta Piran

…de ThisIsCornwall.com:

Hundreds of Cornish patriots poured on to the streets of Cornwall yesterday to celebrate St Piran's Day. ..

…Men braced themselves in Cornish kilts against a cold March wind and listened to reports of an exciting future for Cornwall's ancient language.

Mick Paynter, Deputy Grand Bard of the Cornish Gorsedd, told the crowd: "This will be the year that the Cornish language will find a standard written form which will be taught in schools and used by public bodies.

"This will be a momentous year for that reason and one full of promise."..
