People across Ross-shire can learn traditional tunes from an internationally-renowned Gaelic singer in a music workshop this weekend.


Ishbel MacAskill, well-known for her golden voice and unaccompanied traditional singing, is running a one-day session on Saturday at the Gaelic Primary School in Inverness, which is run by Gaelic organisation, Clì Gàidhlig.

Tional, the Gaelic language gathering, is now in its second year and runs a variety of activities, such as traditional Gaelic conversational classes, storytelling and Gaelic Tae-Kwon-Do exercise classes, for individuals and families who are fluent or learning the language...
