The first ever Welsh language climate change conference is being held in Mid Wales next week.
The two-day event, at the Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod, on April 14-15, will be conducted entirely in Welsh with a simultaneous translation service for non-Welsh speakers.
Delegates will consider whether Wales is seriously addressing the challenge of climate change - and what measures are needed.
Among the speakers is Morgan Parry, head of WWF Cymru and a member of Wales Climate Change Commission, who said: “Policies made today in Wales will determine whether greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise in the next few years, and whether Wales will make its contribution to the global battle against climate change, or continue to be one of the worst culprits"...
