...de Bòrd na Gàidhlig:
Gaelic development and usage has taken another step forward with the publication of the Fort William Gaelic Map by Comunn na Gàidhlig. With a bilingual text in Gaelic and English, this map will be a resource to residents and visitors to the area. The map is available in both leaflet and poster form, suitable for schools and general community use.
Archie Maclean, Chief Executive of Comunn na Gàidhlig, said “CnaG are delighted to be able to publish this innovative map. This map is just one of the Gaelic developments currently taking place in Fort William and an example of the progress made in recent years. We are working on other initiatives in the area and our main focus at the present time is providing parents with information about education through the medium of Gaelic. There are many additional opportunities available through choosing Gaelic Medium Education (GME) and I would urge each parent to consider this in their choices. We are always happy to support those interested in GME at each step.”
