Magio kaj Muziko de Irlando Wicked Local:

The Abington Public Library will be brimming with Irish tales, folklore, and dancing with maybe a little magic Saturday as the children’s library hosts the “Music and Magic of Ireland” as part of the Anderson Foundation Cultural Series.

Entertainment duo Tom and Debbie O ‘Carroll will perform for family audiences at 11 a.m. in the children’s library on 600 Gliniewicz Way.

The library is holding the program to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the library building, and Music and Magic is intended for families with children ages 4 through 12...

...Tom said their performances have been a big hit among children in the past.

“They love it, they genuinely enjoy it,” he said. “And we’re told by teachers that they retain some of the information that they get because of the way it is performed for them. They know the capital of Ireland is Dublin and they will recite several phrases in the Irish language.” ...

Pre-registration is required and available by calling the library at 781-982-2139.
